Each rod models a muscle-tendon unit and<br \/>\ncarries an additional degree of freedom that enforces local<br \/>\nvolume preservation during contraction. A novel slice<br \/>\ndistance constraint using nearest and furthest neighbor<br \/>\nconnections maintains inter-rod spacing without explicit<br \/>\ncollision detection. The method was validated on a<br \/>\nsynthetic arc experiment, and on a hip flexion simulation<br \/>\nof four muscles, where the resulting moment arms align with<br \/>\npublished biomechanical data. The rod-based approach is<br \/>\napproximately 24 times faster than the current<br \/>\nsurface-based method due to the embarrassingly parallel<br \/>\nnature of per-rod constraint projection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":26734,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"university":[169,167],"thesis-year":[466],"class_list":["post-26985","thesis","type-thesis","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","thesis-year-466"],"acf":{"autor":"Duc Long Hoang","portret":"","vedouci":"doc.
