The objective of the<br \/>\nthesis is to develop a system based on neural networks<br \/>\ncapable of detecting parcel numbers from surveying records<br \/>\nand recognizing text from written records. The primary<br \/>\nchallenge of the work lies in the age and condition of the<br \/>\narchival maps and documents. The age of these documents is<br \/>\napparent from various stains and the paper&#8217;s yellowing. To<br \/>\naddress this issue, two object detection methods and four<br \/>\ntext recognition methods were utilized. Despite the<br \/>\nchallenges associated with the age of the documents, I<br \/>\nachieved very high accuracy and a low error rate. The final<br \/>\noutput is a functional system for automated processing of<br \/>\ncadastral maps, facilitating work with data from the<br \/>\nhistorical Stable Cadastre in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":26710,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"university":[169,167],"thesis-year":[466],"class_list":["post-26973","thesis","type-thesis","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","thesis-year-466"],"acf":{"autor":"Vladim\u00edr Hol\u00fd","portret":"","vedouci":"prof.
